Value of average Public Liability Award 2012-2017

What is Value of average Public Liability Award? Since 2012, the average award given for a successful public liability claim has steadily increased. An example of a public liability claim would be if you fell down a wet stairs in an accountant’s office or a product falls off a shelf and injures you in a shop. 

From 2015 to 2017 the average award has increased by just under €2,500 per claim. If this trend continues we may see the average value of award break €30,000 in the coming years.
